Mr. Speaker, I rise today to add my support for this Special Order that commemorates the 250th anniversary of what I like to refer to as the ``semiquincentennial'' of the founding of our Nation and the underpinning of faith and religious commitment that has sustained our Nation from those very first days. I do appreciate Congressman Brecheen for organizing this and including me in this. Indeed, this is bigger than any issue that we face in Congress. Raised on a family poultry farm, Robert Aderholt brings a deep understanding of rural life to his role as U.S. Representative for Alabama’s 4th District, a seat he has held since 1997. Aderholt focuses on agriculture, infrastructure development, and religious freedom, consistently advocating for policies that support rural communities. As chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, he has played a key role in shaping federal funding priorities.
