Biography
Mikie Sherrill served as the U.S. representative for New Jersey's 11th congressional district from 2019 until November 20, 2025, when she left the House after winning the 2025 New Jersey governor's race. A former Navy helicopter pilot and federal prosecutor, she won four terms after first being elected in 2018. In the House, she served on the Armed Services and Appropriations committees and focused her legislative work on veterans' services, infrastructure, and voting rights, including a leading House role on the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
