Frank Pallone began his public service as an attorney advocating for coastal communities in New Jersey. Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives for New Jersey’s 6th District in 1988, he has prioritized health care reform, environmental protection, and consumer safety. As Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Pallone led efforts to expand the Affordable Care Act and championed bipartisan legislation to improve water infrastructure. He is recognized for securing federal disaster relief after Superstorm Sandy and for advancing policies that address climate change.
