Joe Neguse Biography
Joe Neguse, the son of Eritrean immigrants and a former state regulatory official, was elected as U.S. Representative for Colorado’s 2nd District in 2018. In Congress, he has prioritized wildfire mitigation, climate action, and expanding public lands access. Neguse authored the largest public lands bill in over a decade and serves as Ranking Member of the House Subcommittee on Federal Lands. He is known for his collaborative approach, working to deliver pragmatic solutions that reflect the needs and values of Colorado’s diverse communities.
