A former art professor and lifelong advocate for education, Alma Adams was elected to represent North Carolina’s 12th Congressional District in 2014. Adams authored the FUTURE Act, securing permanent federal funding for HBCUs, and serves as co-chair of the Bipartisan HBCU Caucus.
