Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor pastor Tim Hester of Grace Church in DeMotte, Indiana. Since launching Grace Church in 1992, he has helped lead the church from its humble beginnings into a thriving congregation committed to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Pastor Tim emphasized practical Biblical teaching, discipleship, and service beyond the walls of the church. Under his leadership, Grace Church developed ministries for families, recovery, and local and global missions.

Biography
A former farmer and Vietnam veteran, Jim Baird brings decades of hands-on experience to his role as U.S. Representative for Indiana’s 4th District, first elected in 2018. Baird’s legislative priorities include supporting rural communities, strengthening agricultural policy, and improving veterans’ services. He has authored bills aimed at expanding mental health resources for veterans and serves on the House Agriculture Committee, where he advocates for Indiana farmers.
