Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor the unsung heroes who spend their days hauling the American Dream across our Nation's highways. America's truckers are the men and women who keep America moving. They drive for hours on end to make sure that our shelves are stocked. They rush in to deliver lifesaving supplies when disaster strikes. They keep our industries running by delivering the raw materials needed to build our country.

Mr. Speaker, I rise today in support of House Resolution 1530. If we pass this rule, the House will vote on legislation to continue to root out rampant fraud and deliver crucial deregulation to the benefit of the American consumer. Notably, this rule covers two Congressional Review Act joint resolutions offered by Representatives Gallagher and Fong, and I thank them for their leadership on this issue. The Congressional Review Act allows Congress to terminate bad regulations, a vital check over the ever-growing administrative state.
Mr. Speaker, I rise today in strong support of H.J. Res. 1, proposing a constitutional amendment to maintain nine Justices on the United States Supreme Court. The composition of the Supreme Court has consistently been maintained at nine members for over 150 years, a period of time during which the Court issued some of its most important constitutional jurisprudence. Throughout these years, and as the Founders intended, the Court has served as a vital check on government power, blocking those actions that violate the Constitution and threaten individual liberty.
Biography
Raised on a Wyoming ranch, Harriet Hageman built her career as a natural resources and water rights attorney before entering public office. Elected as the U.S. Representative for Wyoming’s at-large district in 2022, she prioritizes land management reform, energy development, and defending state sovereignty. Hageman has authored legislation to limit federal agency overreach and serves on the Committee on Natural Resources. She represents Wyoming with a focus on local control and practical solutions tailored to the state’s unique needs.
